Magic Fails

Systems Go Dark The Shutdown removes mana from the world, disabling airships, MECHFrames, generators, prosthetics, and magical defenses. Humanity wins against Michael but loses the infrastructure that made modern life possible. Emergency Governance Leaders must manage stranded armies, resurrected citizens, food shortages, and damaged cities. The crisis shifts from supernatural war to practical administration. A Different Apocalypse The world is no longer threatened by active demonspawn in the same way, but scarcity and resentment remain. Peace begins as a logistics problem.

Resurrection Day

The Dead Return The repaired system restores selected souls across battlefields, facilities, cities, and remote locations. People appear in places shaped by their former lives but no longer fit the present. Social Shock Families reunite while governments confront citizens who technically died years earlier. The miracle creates legal, emotional, and economic confusion. Memory’s Burden Resurrection does not erase the violence that caused death. The returned must live among those who survived and remember them differently.

Republic and Frontier

Two Successor States Selfia builds the Republic while Lita and Hoshido establish the New Frontier. Their systems reflect different responses to imperial collapse. Cooperation with Suspicion The governments trade, negotiate, and share security while preserving old resentments. The coalition survives as diplomacy rather than permanent unity. Political Memory The survivors remember who ordered massacres, who saved civilians, and who abandoned armies. Reconstruction must therefore include moral accounting as well as roads and food.

Heaven Reclaimed

Ruins Become Capital Heaven is converted into a working city with shops, homes, signs, excavations, and government chambers. Sacred ruins become ordinary infrastructure. The Past Exposed Workers excavate the old angelic world while residents live among its remains. History is no longer sealed behind a door; it is part of daily life. A New Civic Myth Statues of Jack and Sahaqiel share space with practical commerce. The city remembers saviors without allowing the dead age to dictate every institution.

Administrator’s Return

Mana Reenters the World Jack returns with Sahaqiel and activates the Angel System. The power that disappeared five years earlier becomes available in a controlled, visible form. A Conditional Future The system is not presented as a solved society. It creates new responsibilities and dangers, especially for Celeste, Ito, Jill, and the governments around them. Reconstruction Continues The final image is not a restored old world. It is a world with a new interface, a repaired family, and the chance to learn from the disasters that came before.
